I want to meet some women and some new friends that like to party. How would I go about meeting them and making friends? All my friends I’ve known for years and I make a lot of new friends, but mostly through other friends. At this school I will no nobody. What do I do to meet women/friends?

A few friends of mine and I want to volunteer with a nonprofit organization. We want to make sure, though, that we volunteer with an organization that has fellow volunteers around our age (between 20 and 25). To be brutally honest, we’d like to be able to meet women at the events.

We live in Orange County, CA (Newport Beach, specifically). Any ideas? We’re pretty big on environmentalism, but we don’t know where to start.

Local churches are out of the question, by the way.
